The Annual BALT Fellowship Program
The program, consistent with the broader aims of the Trust, is to promote the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of art and architecture by affording the grantees hands-on academic and cultural experiences at the British Architectural Library, at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London, UK.

Congratulations to Alberto Martinez Garcia, a graduate student studying Master of Environmental Design at Yale University, for being chosen as the fellow recipient for the 2023 BALT Fellowship Grant.
Alberto will utilize the grant to research how the Doorn Manifesto and the ideas of Team X regarding dwelling influenced the first generation after Alison & Peter Smithson.
