Fellowship

The Annual BALT Fellowship Program

The program, consistent with the broader aims of the Trust, is to promote the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of art and architecture by affording the grantees hands-on academic and cultural experiences at the British Architectural Library, at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London, UK.

The 2024 BALT Fellowship

The BALT is launching an annual program to provide an individual – who could be a student completing undergraduate or graduate level studies, or a young professional – an opportunity to travel to London, UK and conduct research at the British Architectural Library, the largest collection of architectural materials in the world.

The selected fellow will receive a fixed $5,000 grant and, upon conclusion of the research period, will present their research findings to the BALT Fellowship panel in the fellow’s preferred medium, from a video presentation to a research paper.
