Ted Gamble is Co-Founder and Senior Principal of the firm, serving as Managing Director of Prescott Holdings, LLC, and its subsidiaries, Prescott Investment Management, LLC, and Prescott Capital, LLC. He sits on Prescott’s Management, Operating, and Investment Committees and manages new investment initiatives, including funds, joint ventures, and platform relationships. Since the firm’s inception in 1987, he has played a key role in its development, overseeing all capital commitments and specializing in real estate asset acquisition, financing, and management.
Prior to co-founding Prescott, Ted was a Principal at Morgan Stanley & Co., where he held senior roles in the real estate unit. His responsibilities included raising capital, advising on corporate real estate, managing mergers and acquisitions, and founding Morgan Stanley’s Hotel Group. He also structured investments for Morstan, managing significant U.S. real estate acquisitions for international investors.
Ted was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and holds an A.B. from Princeton University, a Master in Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He has held leadership roles in various professional and civic organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ted has also served on the boards of several corporate and non-profit entities, including the Visiting Committee of Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, the Executive Board of the Greater New York Councils, the Boy Scouts of America, the New-York Historical Society, the Princeton Club of New York, and the U.S. affiliate of Virtus Trust.
